The Launceston Benevolent Society would not be able to operate without the generous support of private donors and benefactors. Although we receive a small amount of government grants each year, it is not enough to cover the work we do throughout the year. For this reason we rely on the generosity of the community and private grants such as the one recently received from the Bruce Wall Charitable Trust.
Brian Faulkner, representing the Bruce Wall Trust, recently presented the Chairman, Don Jones, with a generous grant from the Charitable Trust.
In receiving the grant Don said “this funding is greatly appreciated and will go a long way in helping us achieve our goals for 2020. We can’t thank the Bruce Wall Trust enough for the ongoing support they provide the Launceston Benevolent Society.”
The Bruce Wall Trust has been a long time supporter of the Benevolent Society having previously provided funding grants including funding to replace the Society’s Mitsubishi Triton Ute.
