The Rotary Club of Tamar Sunrise has partnered with the Launceston Benevolent Society on the Essential Care Program for women again this year. The Rotary Club has helped fund this project from proceeds made from their International Women’s Day Breakfast.
Around two hundred essential care baskets will be distributed to women in need by the Launceston Benevolent Society and partner organisations. The care baskets include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, hand cream, lip balm, deodorant, facial wipes and a bath sponge. The baskets will be distributed leading up to Mother’s Day and beyond.
