The Launceston Benevolent Society has resumed accepting donations of clothing and bedding in preparation for the demands of winter. Please help us fill our clothing racks and shelves with warm winter clothing and bedding. Here’s a list of most needed items
· Men’s, women’s and children’s winter clothing
· Warm coats and winter shoes
· Queen and Double bed doonas, doona covers, blankets and sheets, but all sizes are welcome.
· Towels, hand towels and tea towels
· New pillows and pillow cases
Items must be clean and in good condition for us to be able to accept them. We can only accept unused pillows.
The Launceston Benevolent Society does not operate retail shops so all items donated are made available to those in need within our community, free of charge.
Please deliver your donations to 5 Innocent Street, Kings Meadows during our opening hours from 9.30 am to 12.00 noon, Monday to Friday. If you are staying home and not venturing out, please call us on 6344 4213 and we will arrange to collect your donation.
Please help us help those most in need this winter.
